*COLLABORATIVE WORK*
Facing Indentity 2004-05 Our collective, OTHER: Arab Artists Collective was commissioned by the Arab American National Museum to create a multi media installation addressing the history of Arab stereotypes in the media. The room we designed consists of three large mural walls, two smaller mural walls and a video projection. The design juxtaposes the stereotypical images from distant history and recent hitory, a video bringing to light people's media exposure, and and opposing collage suggesting that people take back the ownership and creation of their own identity. Anti-war banners 2006 Many got together at OTHER Studios during the July/August war to paint anti-war banners, which were raised at numerous rallies. More pictures to come.
